I probably should have googled this before typing but it may be the equivalent of IRA (which I have never even looked up what it stands for) because I know the IRA has a maximum amount you can contribute in a yr. Is this contribution pre-tax or after taxes?

Smart auto buying strategy

If you are in the market to buy a new car, strive to make a down payment of 20 percent or more. This percentage roughly covers the amount of depreciation and taxes for the first year. Do not finance longer than four years and avoid owing more than your car will be worth. If you can't meet those criteria - postpone your purchase or look for a used car.
